Job Description

The Energy Efficiency Lighting Trade Ally Manager II is responsible for engaging with market partners such as manufacturers, distributors, and contractors to promote and support participation in energy efficiency lighting programs, ensuring program compliance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating outreach activities to meet program goals in Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outreach and account management activities to trade allies to support program participation
  • Communicate policies, incentives, timelines, and submission processes to trade allies
  • Coordinate onboarding and ongoing engagement activities, including training on incentive submission and portal use
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach with program goals and performance targets
  • Prioritize outreach efforts based on participation data and program needs
  • Troubleshoot moderate issues related to incentive submissions, documentation, and participation barriers
  • Validate trade ally submissions and supporting documentation for compliance and quality standards
  • Evaluate participation data and CRM records to identify outreach gaps and inform prioritization
  • Communicate updates on policies and practices to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • High School diploma or 4 years of equivalent experience
  • 3 years of professional experience in energy efficiency programs, supply chain engagement, outreach, sales support, or market-facing roles
  • Experience coordinating with external partners and internal program teams in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Ability to evaluate program participation data and prioritize outreach activities accordingly
  • Experience validating documentation and troubleshooting moderate participation or process issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating program policies and practices clearly
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office productivity tools
  • Regular local travel within Connecticut for outreach activities 1-2 days per week
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Benefits & Perks

Salary range of $75,000 to $92,000 with a target of $79,000 to $87,400, commensurate with experience
