Job Description
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing ESRT's digital presence through social media storytelling, overseeing influencer marketing campaigns, and driving ticket sales for the Empire State Building Observatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage social media storytelling across real estate, corporate news, and events for ESRT.
- Oversee and develop the influencer marketing program for the Empire State Building Observatory's social channels.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers to drive ticket sales at the observatory.
- Report to the Director of Social Media and contribute to ESRT's digital presence and brand identity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media storytelling and content creation across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Experience in overseeing and managing influencer marketing programs, specifically for social channels related to a high-profile attraction or landmark.
- Ability to develop influencer partnerships informed by their capacity to drive ticket sales at the Empire State Building Observatory.
- Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies to enhance ESRT’s online presence and brand identity as a NYC-focused REIT and owner of the Empire State Building.
- Excellent communication skills to craft compelling social media stories about real estate, corporate news, and events.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to improve engagement and reach.
- Knowledge of social media platform algorithms, best practices, and trends relevant to real estate and tourism industries.
- Physical ability to work in an office environment, with flexibility to attend events or shoot content as needed.
