Job Description
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing ESRT's digital presence through social media storytelling related to real estate, corporate news, and events, as well as overseeing influencer marketing campaigns to promote the Empire State Building Observatory and drive ticket sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage social media storytelling across real estate, corporate news, and events for ESRT.
- Oversee and develop the influencer marketing program for the Empire State Building Observatory's social channels.
- Identify and collaborate with influencers to drive ticket sales at the Observatory.
- Report to the Director of Social Media and contribute to ESRT's digital presence and brand identity.
Requirements
- Experience in social media storytelling across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn.
- Ability to oversee and manage an influencer marketing program for the Empire State Building Observatory's social channels.
- Knowledge of influencer partnerships and their ability to drive ticket sales at the observatory.
- Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media, with the ability to work under supervision and collaborate with team members.
- Understanding of the importance of digital presence and brand storytelling in the real estate and corporate sectors.
- Ability to contribute to ESRT’s digital strategy as a NYC-focused REIT and owner of the Empire State Building.
- Strong communication skills to effectively tell stories through social media channels.
