The position involves analyzing financial, operational, and legal data to support investigations, disputes, and compliance efforts, utilizing economic, accounting, and data analytics skills to provide actionable insights for clients in complex legal and business matters.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate and analyze financial and operational evidence using structured and unstructured data
Execute forensic accounting and economic procedures in large, multidisciplinary investigations
Support senior experts by analyzing economic, accounting, and financial data
Utilize statistical, econometric, and database skills to analyze large data sets
Conduct industry, market, and competitor research
Train team members on engagement procedures and quality control
Support day-to-day engagement administration, including work plan execution, budgeting, and invoicing
Review and summarize client documents, legal documents, and third-party data to identify key information
Perform interview-based research with clients, government entities, and industry groups
Assist in creating and reviewing client deliverables such as financial analyses, research summaries, and expert reports
Requirements
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field such as economics, accounting, or finance.
3-5 years of accounting, finance, or economic experience.
Audit experience or forensic and litigation consulting experience is preferred.
Analytic skills, including familiarity with basic statistical techniques and their application, are preferred but not required.
Experience gathering, standardizing, and analyzing voluminous transactional electronic data.
Ability to query and mine large data sets to discover transaction patterns, examine financial data, and filter for targeted information.
Ability to prioritize and execute responsibilities under pressure.
Work schedule: 3 to 4 days per week in the office with flexibility for remote work
