The Real Estate Paralegal will support the Chief Counsel and Real Estate Litigation Counsel in managing various real estate legal matters, including transaction and litigation documents, and communicate with internal departments, external counsel, tenants, and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Chief Counsel and Real Estate Litigation Counsel in handling real estate transactions and litigation documents.
Communicate with internal departments, external counsel, tenants, and government agencies regarding real estate matters.
Assist in preparing, reviewing, and managing legal documents related to real estate transactions and disputes.
Requirements
Support the Chief Counsel, Real Estate and Real Estate Litigation Counsel, in handling a variety of real estate matters for ESRT, including transaction and litigation documents.
Assist with written and oral communication with other departments within the company, ESRT's external counsel, tenants and counterparty's counsel, and government agencies.
Work directly with and support legal teams on real estate transaction and litigation documents.
Possess the ability to handle a variety of real estate legal matters as part of the legal team.
Demonstrate strong communication skills for interaction with internal departments, external counsel, tenants, and government agencies.
Be able to work in a team environment supporting legal functions related to real estate.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent (implied, as formal education requirements are not explicitly stated but are generally expected for a paralegal role).
