Job Description
The Observatory Operations Intern will support guest experience initiatives at the Empire State Building's observatory by analyzing visitor journeys, identifying operational improvements, and leveraging AI tools to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain the attraction's top status.
Key Responsibilities
- Support onsite guest experience initiatives at the Observatory.
- Analyze the visitor journey to identify operational improvements.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist in driving measurable increases in positive customer reviews.
Requirements
- The candidate must be available to work full-time 40 hours per week from June 1st, 2026, until August 7th, 2026.
- The internship position requires onsite presence at 111 W 33rd Street, New York, NY.
- The candidate must be enrolled in or recently graduated from a program related to hospitality, tourism, business, data analysis, or a related field (implied by the nature of the guest experience and visitor journey analysis).
- The candidate must have strong analytical skills to analyze the visitor journey and identify operational improvements.
- The candidate must have the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance guest experience (implying familiarity with AI or related technologies).
