Job Description

The Director of Growth Marketing is responsible for managing and optimizing the Empire State Building and ESRT websites as key revenue channels, leading digital strategy, testing, and performance marketing efforts to drive measurable growth and maximize ROI across paid and organic channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the performance, conversion, and continuous improvement of the Empire State Building and Empire State Realty Trust websites as primary revenue channels.
  • Lead website strategy, structured testing, and digital acquisition initiatives to drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Manage the end-to-end digital marketing funnel, including website experience, paid media strategy, SEO, OTA performance, and conversion optimization.
  • Oversee external digital advertising agency and run rigorous testing programs to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Apply analytics and AI-driven tools to scale demand, improve ROI, and enhance performance across paid and organic channels.

Requirements

  • Experience owning and managing websites as primary revenue-driving channels, with accountability for their performance, conversion, and continuous optimization.
  • Proven ability to lead website strategy, structured testing programs, and digital acquisition efforts to drive measurable revenue growth through disciplined experimentation and performance marketing.
  • Experience managing the end-to-end digital funnel, including website experience, paid media strategy, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (App Store Optimization), OTA (Online Travel Agency) performance, and conversion optimization.
  • Experience leading external digital advertising agencies to execute digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to run rigorous testing programs and apply analytics and AI-driven tools to improve marketing efficiency, scale demand, and maximize ROI across paid and organic channels.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid media, organic search, and performance optimization.
  • Experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Ability to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that align with revenue growth objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to optimize marketing performance.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing budgets and measuring ROI.
  • Strong leadership skills to head external agencies and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (implied as a typical requirement for senior marketing roles).
