Job Description
The Multifamily Accounting Manager oversees accounting and financial reporting for ESRT's multifamily properties, plays a key role in developing accounting processes, and manages a team with experience in multifamily and NYC affordable housing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting and financial reporting for each property in the multifamily portfolio
- Shape and develop accounting processes for the multifamily platform
- Manage and lead the multifamily accounting team
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other teams to support financial operations and reporting
Requirements
- Recent work experience as a manager in multifamily and NYC affordable housing.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Relevant multifamily accounting experience.
- Ability to oversee the accounting and financial reporting of each property within ESRT's multifamily property portfolio.
- Ability to shape and build out accounting processes for the multifamily platform.
- Ability to work well within multiple teams.
- Self-starter with the initiative to manage responsibilities independently.
