The Leasing Intern supports the leasing team by assisting with tenant engagement, market analysis, property tours, database updates, and negotiation support to help achieve leasing objectives and improve portfolio performance.
Key Responsibilities
Support the leasing team in tenant engagement, market analysis, and deal activity.
Assist with tenant and broker tours.
Conduct competitive market studies.
Help plan tenant and broker events.
Update and maintain leasing databases.
Participate in building walk-throughs with operations and leasing staff.
Provide support during negotiation processes.
Requirements
The candidate must be available to work full-time 40 hours per week from June 1st, 2026, until August 7th, 2026.
The internship position requires onsite presence at 111 W 33rd Street, New York, NY.
The candidate should be currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree relevant to real estate, leasing, business, or a related field (implied by the internship nature).
The candidate must have strong organizational skills to assist with updating and maintaining leasing databases.
The candidate should be able to participate in building walk-throughs with operations and leasing staff.
The candidate must be capable of supporting tenant and broker tours, and assist with planning tenant and broker events.
The candidate should be able to support the leasing team during negotiation processes.
The candidate must demonstrate good communication skills to support market analysis, deal activity, and tenant engagement.
The candidate should be able to assist with competitive market studies and provide support in advancing leasing objectives and overall portfolio performance.
