Job Description
The Freight Operator is responsible for safely operating freight elevators, assisting with material and personnel movement, supporting building operations and construction activities, and maintaining a clean and secure freight environment within the building.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate all freight elevators safely and efficiently
- Assist contractors and delivery personnel with freight movements
- Maintain a clean and orderly freight environment
- Support daily building operations, construction activities, and tenant moves
- Perform periodic cleaning tasks related to freight areas
- Support operations during inclement weather conditions
- Complete detailed incident reports as required
- Adhere to building security protocols
Requirements
- The candidate must have the ability to operate all freight elevators safely, efficiently, and securely to move materials, equipment, and personnel throughout the building.
- The candidate must assist contractors and delivery personnel as part of their responsibilities.
- The candidate must maintain a clean and orderly freight environment at all times.
- The candidate must possess strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
- The candidate must strictly adhere to building security protocols at all times.
- The candidate must support daily building operations, construction activities, and tenant moves.
- The candidate must provide excellent service to staff, visitors, and contractors.
- The candidate must perform periodic cleaning tasks as part of their duties.
- The candidate must support inclement weather operations when required.
- The candidate must complete detailed incident reports accurately and promptly.
- The candidate must follow management direction to maintain smooth building operations.
