Job Description
The Proposal Coordinator supports the proposal team by organizing, editing, and managing complex proposal materials to ensure timely, polished, and professional submissions that help secure projects in the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage proposal submissions to ensure they are complete, polished, and professional
- Organize and maintain proposal materials, keeping them current and accessible
- Assist in editing and reviewing proposal content for clarity and accuracy
- Collaborate with the proposal and marketing team and technical consultants to support proposal development
- Track deadlines and manage details to ensure timely submission of proposals
Requirements
- Must be able to work for extended hours in front of a computer screen and conduct meetings on the telephone and virtually.
- Full-time employment with non-exempt status.
- Travel requirement of 0-10%.
- Office location in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.
- Must be an organized, proactive person who is excited to help make proposals even stronger.
- Ability to coordinate many moving pieces in complex proposals, often responding to RFPs issued by utilities, state agencies, and other clients.
- Ability to think about process, complete administrative responsibilities, and thrive in an environment with diverse responsibilities.
- Works well on a deadline and takes initiative to assist the team.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the US; cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
- Candidates must go through a recruiting process that includes a phone interview, a technical exercise, and final interviews, with a process duration of approximately 6-8 weeks.
