Job Description
A Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at DroneDeploy will lead the development of autonomous drone and robotics solutions, focusing on building secure, scalable systems, hardware integrations, and data processing to advance autonomous drone operations in a remote, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-stack projects from design to deployment, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.
- Develop and test software directly on autonomous drones and sensor payloads, focusing on hardware integrations and data processing.
- Collaborate across teams and contribute to technical design decisions to deliver reliable and innovative systems.
Requirements
- Experience in leading full-stack projects from design to deployment, taking full ownership of the architecture and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance systems utilizing modern technologies.
- Ability to develop and test directly on autonomous drones and sensor payloads, impacting critical areas like field hardware integrations and data processing.
- Proven experience collaborating across teams, running smaller projects, and proactively contributing to technical design decisions to deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative systems.
- Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on full-stack development.
- Strong understanding of secure, scalable, and high-performance system design and implementation.
- Experience working in a remote-first, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work daily with cutting-edge drone and robotics technology, empowering users to capture and leverage aerial and ground data.
