Job Description

A Senior Software Engineer focused on developing reliable, user-centric Android applications for 3D scanning and reality capture, transforming smartphone and camera data into professional-grade mapping tools to empower industries with innovative mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a reliable, user-centric Android app for 3D scanning and reality capture.
Translate learnings from existing iOS applications and proofs of concept into production-grade Android solutions.
Define the architectural foundation for the Android application and drive product development forward with a focus on reliability and quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in building production-grade Android applications with a focus on reliability and user-centric design.
Ability to take learnings from existing iOS app and Android proofs of concept and turn them into a robust, production-quality Android app.
Experience in defining architectural foundations for Android applications and driving product development with a high level of craft and reliability.
Strong knowledge of Android development best practices, including familiarity with Android SDK, APIs, and development tools.
Experience in creating or working with 3D scanning tools, mapping devices, or similar reality capture technologies is preferred.
Ability to collaborate with a team to define technical solutions and contribute to the overall product architecture.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure the reliability of capture technology.
Strong communication skills to effectively share learnings and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with remote work environments and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
