Job Description

The Business Development Representative (EMEA UK) will identify potential clients, conduct cold outreach, and schedule discovery meetings to generate sales pipeline, supporting the growth of DroneDeploy's regional market through strategic research and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify interest in DroneDeploy from key accounts and conduct cold outreach
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for Account Executives
  • Work strategically with AEs to target new and existing customer accounts
  • Perform research to develop tailored messaging strategies in collaboration with marketing campaigns
  • Conduct detailed discovery conversations to generate sales pipeline

Requirements

  • Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM BST, with the flexibility to work longer hours if requested.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work model, combining both in-office and remote work, with a requirement to be in the office at least four days per week near Moorgate Station, London.
  • Willingness to travel around 1-4 trade shows per quarter, approximately 25% of the time.
  • Experience in conducting cold outreach to identify interest in a product or service and to schedule qualified discovery meetings for sales teams.
  • Experience in working strategically with sales teams to target net new accounts and expand existing customer accounts.
  • Ability to perform research to develop tailored messaging strategies in tandem with marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in conducting detailed discovery conversations to drive pipeline generation.
  • Genuine curiosity, intrinsic motivation, and an entrepreneurial spirit suitable for a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with key accounts and conduct discovery conversations.
  • Ability to develop and execute research strategies to identify potential clients and opportunities.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and working in a dynamic environment.
