Job Description
A Process CAD Engineer responsible for developing and improving P&IDs, layout plans, and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D, ensuring integration with engineering documentation, sizing process lines and equipment, and supporting the transition from R&D to industrial deployment of Dioxycle's carbon utilization technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, draft, and improve P IDs using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Create layout, plot plans, and 3D models with AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Ensure integration of P IDs, 3D models, line lists, and equipment lists with procurement documentation
- Size process lines and core equipment based on process requirements
- Select equipment and prepare technical specifications and datasheets
- Interface with vendors and suppliers
- Standardize and structure Dioxycle's engineering workflow
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in process engineering or CAD engineering roles.
- Deep expertise in AutoCAD Plant 3D for developing, drafting, and continuously improving P IDs.
- Experience in developing layout, plot plans, and 3D models using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Strong fundamentals in process engineering, including sizing process lines for gas and liquids based on process requirements.
- Ability to perform equipment selection and prepare technical specifications and datasheets.
- Experience in ensuring strong integration between P IDs, 3D models, line lists, equipment lists, and engineering procurement documentation.
- Experience interfacing with vendors and suppliers for equipment and process components.
- Ability to help structure and standardize engineering workflows within an organization.
- Willingness to relocate to Paris, France, or be based there.
