Job Description
The Head of Business Development at Dioxycle will lead the company's efforts to establish commercial partnerships, develop go-to-market strategies, and promote the adoption of innovative carbon utilization technologies, supporting the transition from prototype to industrial-scale deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial partnership development and negotiate agreements with key industry players
- Conduct customer discovery to understand needs and refine go-to-market strategy
- Develop and execute strategies for market entry and value proposition positioning
- Represent Dioxycle at trade shows and industry events to build relationships
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to create commercial agreements
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights
Requirements
- Candidates must have 7 years of relevant experience in business development or related fields.
- Candidates should be dedicated to advancing Dioxycle's mission of carbon utilization and sustainable chemical production.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Paris, France, or be based there.
- Ability to conduct customer discovery to understand customer needs and priorities.
- Experience in contributing to the refinement of go-to-market strategy based on internal business intelligence and external customer engagement.
- Experience in spearheading the development of new commercial partnerships and negotiating agreements with key consumer brands and chemical industry players.
- Ability to work hand-in-hand with legal counsel and the finance team to build creative commercial agreements.
- Experience participating in trade shows and industry events to develop key relationships with targeted customers and relevant industry organizations.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise, and timely updates to all stakeholders, emphasizing project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights.
