Job Description
The Head of Business Development will lead the company's efforts to establish commercial partnerships, develop go-to-market strategies, and position Dioxycle as a leader in sustainable chemical production through innovative carbon utilization technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial partnership development and negotiate agreements with key industry players
- Conduct customer discovery to understand needs and refine go-to-market strategy
- Develop and execute strategies for market entry and value proposition positioning
- Represent Dioxycle at trade shows and industry events to build relationships
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to create commercial agreements
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights
Requirements
- Candidates must have a minimum of fifteen years of relevant experience in business development or related fields.
- Candidates must be based in, or open to relocating to, Paris, France.
- Ability to lead commercial partnership development efforts across all areas of the value chain.
- Experience in conducting customer discovery to understand customer needs and priorities.
- Experience in contributing to the refinement of go-to-market strategies based on internal business intelligence and external customer engagement.
- Proven ability to spearhead the development of new commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements with key consumer brands and chemical industry players.
- Experience working with legal counsel and finance teams to build creative commercial agreements.
- Ability to participate in trade shows and industry events to develop key relationships with targeted customers and relevant industry organizations.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver clear, concise, and timely updates to all stakeholders, emphasizing project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights.
