Job Description
The Vice President of Operations will lead and optimize the systems overseeing production, inventory, shipping, and logistics for a fast-growing, sustainable luxury jewelry brand, ensuring quality and efficiency while supporting high-growth and creative teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and scale operational systems for production, inventory, shipping, and logistics.
- Oversee quality and efficiency standards for all products.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supply partners to optimize operations.
- Own and manage critical operational systems within the business.
- Drive automation initiatives and process improvements across the organization.
Requirements
- The candidate must have experience leading and scaling operational systems that oversee production, inventory, shipping, and logistics within a vertically integrated fine jewelry or similar high-growth environment.
- The candidate must work closely with manufacturing and supply partners to ensure operational standards are met.
- The candidate must own critical operational systems and drive automation and process improvements across the business.
- The candidate must be a hands-on leader who thrives in high-growth environments and understands how to support both creative and technical teams.
- The position requires physical presence at a designated VRAI facility for all scheduled work hours, specifically for roles designated as Onsite.
- The candidate must be able to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- The candidate must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 25 pounds.
- The candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S., with employment verification through E-Verify, and must complete Form I-9.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related roles (implied by the seniority of VP level, though not explicitly stated).
