Job Description
The Application Engineering Director at Diamond Foundry Inc. is responsible for leading the adoption of advanced diamond solutions in semiconductor packaging and thermal management, supporting customer integration, and driving growth in the company's innovative lab-grown diamond technology for high-tech industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the adoption of diamond solutions in advanced packaging and thermal applications within the semiconductor industry.
- Support the growth and technical success of customer applications involving single-crystal diamond wafers.
- Lead application engineering efforts to optimize the integration of diamond materials in electronic and thermal systems.
Requirements
- Experience in driving the adoption of advanced materials or solutions, specifically in applications related to advanced packaging and thermal management, with a highly motivated and experienced background in application engineering management.
- Ability to support a growing customer base in the semiconductor industry by supporting the adoption of cutting-edge diamond solutions in relevant applications.
- Physical ability to use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures, including the ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Physical capability to perform tasks that may require the use of ladders or stairs, driving or the use of foot controls, and lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, confirmed through participation in E-Verify and completion of Form I-9, with the employer providing instructions and opportunities to resolve any authorization issues.
