The role involves developing and managing strategic procurement initiatives for solar and storage projects, including sourcing equipment, negotiating supply agreements, and maintaining supplier relationships, to support the company's renewable energy project development and construction efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage strategic procurement initiatives for project development and construction.
Plan procurement of major equipment in coordination with Development, Engineering, and Project Management teams.
Issue, manage, and evaluate RFPs for equipment procurement.
Lead negotiations of equipment supply agreements.
Ensure equipment meets bankability, performance, and reliability standards.
Manage logistics and scheduling to ensure on-time delivery of equipment.
Maintain supplier relationships, focusing on owner-furnished equipment such as PV modules, BESS, inverters, racking, transformers, and breakers.
Stay informed on supply chain industry trends, technology evolution, and market dynamics.
Manage and report on global market, commodity, and policy updates.
Requirements
Five (5) years of supply chain experience in the solar or electric utility industry.
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Cypress Creek Renewables, including executives and Investment Committee members.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems.
Ability to develop and manage strategic procurement initiatives in support of project development and project construction organizations.
Experience in planning procurement of major equipment with Development, Engineering, and Project Management for allocation to projects.
Experience issuing, managing, and evaluating RFPs for equipment procurement.
Experience leading negotiations of equipment supply agreements.
Ability to ensure equipment meets stakeholder bankability, performance, and reliability standards.
Experience managing logistics and scheduling of equipment to ensure on-time delivery.
Experience supporting and maintaining supplier relationships, with a focus on owner-furnished equipment including PV modules, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), inverters, racking, transformers, and breakers.
Ability to be a subject matter expert on supply chain industry trends, technology evolution, and market dynamics.
Experience collecting and reporting on global market, commodity, and policy assessment updates.
Ability to follow, manage, and update company policies as necessary.
Experience in strategic category management (preferred).
Experience in direct support of capital construction projects (preferred).
Experience developing processes and procedures (preferred).

Salary range of $140,000 to $200,000 plus bonus and benefits
