This internship offers law students exposure to various legal aspects of renewable energy projects, including transactional work, real estate, contracts, and project development, within a purpose-driven organization focused on sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys across transactional, real estate, and contract legal functions
Draft ancillary documents and assist with M&A and financing transactions
Collaborate with EPC and O&M teams on contract support and legal matters
Work with project development, structured finance, and operations teams to facilitate deal execution and project progress
Perform diligence tasks related to legal and transactional processes
Conduct research assignments to support legal work
Requirements
Current 1st or 2nd year law school student
Demonstrated interest in renewables sector
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
Creative problem-solving
Highly organized and punctual
Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
Availability to work a 12-week period from May to August
Ability to work 40 hours a week
