Job Description
This internship offers law students exposure to various legal aspects of renewable energy projects, including transactional work, real estate, contracts, and project development, within a purpose-driven organization focused on sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys across transactional, real estate, and contract legal functions
- Draft ancillary documents and assist with M&A and financing transactions
- Collaborate with EPC and O&M teams on contract support and legal matters
- Work with project development, structured finance, and operations teams to facilitate deal execution and project progress
- Perform diligence tasks related to legal and transactional processes
- Conduct research assignments to support legal work
Requirements
- Current 1st or 2nd year law school student
- Demonstrated interest in renewables sector
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
- Creative problem-solving
- Highly organized and punctual
- Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
- Availability to work a 12-week period from May to August
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
