Support the financing and development of solar and battery storage projects by performing financial modeling, managing transaction due diligence, and coordinating project execution to ensure successful project completion and investment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze solar project investment opportunities using economic criteria and key value drivers.
Prepare and own financial models for project financing transactions.
Lead deal execution by coordinating meetings, maintaining project timelines, and evaluating risks.
Create and present materials for stakeholders, including executive management and financiers.
Manage internal and external due diligence and transaction timelines.
Collaborate with capital markets and M&A teams on financing and acquisition opportunities.
Work with internal experts on tax, legal, financing, and structuring issues impacting transactions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS); MBA or other relevant graduate degrees are welcome
3-6 years of finance experience required, with multiple years of this experience spent working in the renewable energy industry; experience in investment banking, project finance, or corporate M&A is a plus
Familiarity with tax equity structures utilized in the solar industry
Strong credit, financial analysis, quantitative, and modeling skills
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability
Ability to work well with multiple teams across functions and offices throughout the US
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to think on feet to defend positions and decisions
Attention to detail and organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines
Unimpeachable ethics and integrity
Desire to contribute professionally and personally to a dynamic and motivated team environment
Eagerness to learn, take on more responsibilities, and advance into a Director-level position after demonstrating sufficient mastery of the craft

Salary range of $120,000 to $145,000 plus bonus
