The Senior O M Cost Strategy and Contracting Analyst is responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing Operations Maintenance agreements for renewable energy assets, while analyzing costs, optimizing contracts, and supporting operational and financial decision-making across solar, wind, and storage projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, review, and negotiate Operations Maintenance (O M) Agreements for renewable energy projects.
Collaborate with legal, finance, engineering, procurement, and asset management teams to ensure contract compliance and smooth implementation.
Benchmark and analyze O M costs to identify efficiency opportunities and ensure competitive pricing.
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and contractual terms related to availability, damages, and penalties.
Translate technical maintenance requirements into contractual obligations and ensure alignment with asset performance expectations.
Identify and mitigate contractual and operational risks across the O M portfolio.
Support asset management with change orders, renewals, and extensions during project evolution.
Provide commercial insights and contract summaries for M&A and due diligence activities.
Develop and maintain cost estimating models and perform scenario analysis for O M costs.
Use data analytics tools to visualize and automate analysis of O M cost data and contract information.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or other applicable field.
At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, or infrastructure.
Experience with renewables Operations & Maintenance (O M) agreements and contracting.
Understanding of renewable energy plant operations including solar, wind, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Demonstrated experience in an operations support role involving the development of creative solutions to operating challenges.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical, legal, and financial disciplines.
Strong analytical and project management capabilities with attention to detail and risk awareness.
