The Senior Accountant will manage financial data, perform account reconciliations, support internal and external financial reporting, and assist with accounting for renewable energy construction projects, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
Execute the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process following internal control procedures.
Perform analytical functions to ensure accurate and timely general ledger month-end close.
Prepare financial statements, income statements, balance sheets, and equity transactions.
Support the preparation of monthly draw packages for construction projects.
Maintain documentation to support financial statement assertions and internal controls.
Provide accurate general ledger account coding for construction projects.
Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Research technical accounting and reporting matters in collaboration with accounting professionals.
Support the external audit process by compiling financial statements and footnote schedules.
Coordinate with internal departments and external groups to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in general accounting.
Knowledge of ERP accounting system.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent efforts and provide high-quality deliverables accurately and on time.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customers.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Practical understanding and application of internal control processes and procedures over financial accounting and reporting.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including performing financial and analytical computations in Excel.
Detail-oriented and adaptable to changing working requirements.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment that emphasizes attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and working together to achieve company-wide objectives.
Perform all aspects of work with a high degree of accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Salary range of $83,000 - $122,000 depending on location and experience
