The Manager, Regulatory Compliance is responsible for managing and facilitating compliance with NERC, FERC, and other electric regulatory requirements, including preparing submissions, supporting audits, and monitoring regulatory developments to ensure the company's adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing compliance with NERC, FERC, and other federal and state electric regulatory requirements.
Manage NERC compliance matters for registered entities and assets.
Prepare NERC and EIA regulatory submissions, audits, self-certifications, and reports.
Develop and maintain compliance procedures, internal controls, and documentation to demonstrate adherence to regulations.
Monitor and analyze changes in electric regulatory requirements and assess their impact.
Participate in industry forums and outreach activities related to NERC and reliability standards.
Coordinate and facilitate compliance training for internal teams.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve compliance issues and track corrective actions.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required.
At least five years of experience with NERC reliability standards.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of internal or external groups.
Ability to work independently and be self-directed to take action and accomplish tasks quickly and accurately with minimal direction and supervision.
Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with other functions to complete projects.
Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
Must be detail-oriented.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 USD
