Job Description

The Manager, Regulatory Compliance is responsible for overseeing and managing the electric regulatory compliance program, ensuring adherence to NERC, FERC, and other federal, state, and ISO RTO requirements, with a focus on NERC 693 standards and EIA submissions, through coordination, documentation, and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage compliance with NERC, FERC, and other federal, state, and ISO RTO electric regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee NERC compliance matters for registered entities and assets.
  • Prepare and submit NERC, EIA, and other regulatory filings and reports.
  • Assist in audits, self-certifications, spot checks, and data submittals related to compliance.
  • Develop and maintain compliance procedures, internal controls, and documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in electric regulatory requirements and assess their impact.
  • Participate in industry forums and outreach activities related to electric reliability and compliance.
  • Coordinate and deliver compliance training to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance issues and track corrective actions.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least five years experience with NERC reliability standards.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written with all levels of internal or external groups.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed to take action and accomplish tasks quickly and accurately with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with other functions to complete projects.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate, coordinate, and lead work teams.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 USD
Eligible for an annual cash bonus based on personal and company performance
