Job Description
A Cybersecurity Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures to protect an organization's data, systems, and networks, while troubleshooting security issues, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for data, systems, and networks
- Troubleshoot security, application, and network issues
- Respond to security breaches and incidents
- Create and audit cybersecurity policies, procedures, baselines, and standards
- Participate in change management processes related to security
- Test and identify vulnerabilities in networks, applications, and systems
- Perform daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant departments
- Collaborate with external partners for cybersecurity assessments, audits, and documentation
Requirements
- A 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or comparable work experience; at minimum, a high school diploma is required.
- At least 5 years of work experience with security standards, protocols, and technologies.
- At least 5 years of experience in architecting and implementing enterprise security architecture, management, and support.
- At least 5 years of work experience with incident detection, incident response, and forensics.
- At least 5 years of experience in risk assessment, policy creation, and threat classification frameworks.
- Experience with the functionality and maintenance of Firewalls, Servers Applications, Office 365 Security, and Endpoint Security.
- Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Identity Management services, and network monitoring solutions.
- Experience with implementing zero-trust solutions at an enterprise scale and hardening security solutions.
- Ability to create and update documentation on all areas of cybersecurity expertise.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to successfully communicate with internal and external stakeholders in all situations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams simultaneously, set priorities, and exercise judgment.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits.
- Ability to troubleshoot security, application, and network problems.
- Ability to respond to all system and network security breaches and incidents.
- Experience in planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for data, systems, and networks.
- Experience in testing and identifying network, application, and system vulnerabilities.
- Experience in creating and auditing cybersecurity policies, procedures, baselines, and standards.

Salary range of $150,000 to $166,000 USD
