The Associate, Training Developer designs, develops, and evaluates technical training programs for field technicians and leaders, leading projects, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring training effectiveness aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and evaluate technical training programs using instructional design models and adult learning theories
Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify training requirements
Create and update instructor-led training materials, assessments, and multimedia content aligned with measurable learning objectives
Deliver instructor-led training sessions and train-the-trainer programs
Collect and analyze feedback and assessment data to improve training content and delivery methods
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business needs
Mentor and guide junior training team members
Lead project teams, define deliverables, and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of training projects
Manage multiple training development projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology or related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in training development, instructional design, or technical training.
Proven track record in developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.
Demonstrated understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training evaluation frameworks.
Demonstrated proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze and present courses of action, make well-reasoned recommendations, and work productively within ambiguity.
Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
Experience mentoring or coaching junior staff.
Willingness to travel up to 10%.
