The Senior Associate role in CRA's Life Sciences practice involves managing and conducting strategic analysis for clients in the biopharmaceutical and related industries, with a focus on pricing and market access, while overseeing project execution, client interactions, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
Identify design conduct analytic tasks and develop analytic frameworks for consulting projects
Interface with client representatives to communicate developments and present results
Draft reports, presentations, or sections of reports and presentations
Contribute to project planning and budget management
Provide training and technical supervision to less-experienced staff
Manage and oversee analytical tasks within projects
Conduct advanced strategic analysis and assist in project management
Support business development efforts and draft client proposals
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in life sciences (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacology, chemistry) or economics or a relevant analytical or business degree, with significant work experience
5-8 years of previous consulting experience
Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and techniques
Proven staff and project management skills
Client interaction, facilitation, presentation, budgeting, and project planning skills
Strong knowledge of pricing and market access issues in the US market and globally (strongly preferred)
Ability to independently identify design conduct analytic tasks and contribute to the development of overall analytic framework for consulting projects
Ability to interface with client representatives to communicate developments and present results
Ability to draft reports or presentations, or sections of reports or presentations
Ability to contribute to project planning and budget management efforts
Ability to provide training and technical supervision to less-experienced staff, including reviewing analyses and providing coaching
Ability to contribute to business development efforts and draft client proposals
Willingness to travel occasionally
Effective planning and management skills to execute smaller projects or significant sub-tasks on larger projects
Ability to conceptualize and analyze issues, and perform or direct a wide variety of analytical tasks
Strong work ethic, creativity, positive attitude, and high energy
