Job Description

The position involves providing economic and statistical analysis expertise in employment-related litigation and consulting projects, leading research efforts, managing client relationships, and contributing to practice development within a leading global consulting firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, perform, and direct advanced empirical, theoretical, and strategic analyses for client deliverables
  • Develop and share technical expertise to add value to projects and analyses
  • Create error-free client reports that incorporate insights
  • Manage and own projects, including setting objectives, delegating tasks, and communicating with teams
  • Contribute to industry thought leadership through networking and participation in trade groups
  • Proactively grow and maintain client relationships
  • Manage and develop project teams with leadership and integrity
  • Identify and secure new project revenue opportunities

Requirements

  • PhD in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Economics, Engineering or related quantitative discipline, with 5-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Alternately, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Economics, Engineering or related quantitative discipline, with 8-11 years of relevant work experience in economic analysis
  • Solid working knowledge of statistical methods, regression analysis, and economic methodologies
  • Command of a broad range of research and quantitative analysis skills including strong computer programming and data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in STATA is a plus
  • Curious and analytic thinkers who bring creative approaches to non-standard problems
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership
  • Strong team development and collaboration capabilities

Benefits & Perks

Compensation/salary range: $160,000 - $220,000 (base salary, with total compensation potentially including benefits and bonus)
Work schedule flexibility: 3 to 4 days per week in the office, with additional remote work options during certain times of the year
