Job Description
A Release Manager role responsible for coordinating and managing software releases and deployments across global teams, ensuring stability, security, and efficiency in a fast-growing SaaS environment utilizing CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, and validate software releases developed by multiple teams
- Ensure approvals, functional, and security test results meet deployment requirements
- Plan, schedule, and control software deployments and feature releases to customers
- Identify and communicate risks that could delay releases and manage them
- Track release progress, identify issues, and work to improve the release process
- Define and manage the strategic use of release management tools
- Present and ensure compliance of the release process during audits
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in the field of software development and release management.
- Have a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable education.
- Have at least 3 years of release management experience.
- Have at least 3 years of experience working with Linux and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and a data-driven mindset.
- Experience communicating dependencies and risks to stakeholders and external teams around releases.
- Experience in the use of Application Release Automation tools such as GitHub, Jira, etc.
- Experience utilizing coding languages, including Python, Go, Java, Bash, or an equivalent language.
- Proven track record of scaling release velocity by at least 2x for large scale strategic business critical systems.

Base salary range: 160,000 - 210,000 USD
