Job Description

An Analytics Associate in the Risk, Investigations Analytics practice supports complex investigations by analyzing structured data related to litigation, regulatory, and enforcement matters, developing visualizations, and preparing deliverables for clients. The role involves collaboration, data collection, analysis, and presentation to help clients make strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support complex investigations for government agencies, regulators, financial institutions, and law firms.
  • Perform advanced analysis of structured data related to business disputes, regulatory matters, and securities litigation.
  • Develop documentation and visualizations to present analysis findings to clients.
  • Assist in collecting, standardizing, and identifying relevant data for analysis.
  • Review transactional and financial data to support litigation and regulatory cases.
  • Create dashboards and visualizations to highlight trends, outliers, and opportunities for clients.
  • Contribute to the development of final reports, deliverables, and presentations for clients.
  • Meet case deadlines and manage multiple projects within budget constraints.
  • Travel as needed for data collection, site visits, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Mathematics
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience in financial economic analysis, preferably in a consulting firm
  • Experience with SQL, VBA, Python, or R
  • Familiarity with relational database systems such as MS SQL Server or Oracle Database
  • Experience with visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau or Qlikview
  • An understanding of cloud computing software such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical skills
  • Motivated with the ability to adapt to new settings and challenges
  • Willingness to travel as required for data collections, site visits, and client meetings

Salary range of $92,500 - $105,000 with potential for bonus incentive compensation
