Job Description

The role involves leading strategic enterprise sales within the manufacturing sector for Celonis, focusing on building long-term customer relationships, driving revenue through value-based solutions, and collaborating with internal teams and partners to expand business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial development of strategic manufacturing accounts to drive revenue growth.
  • Utilize Celonis Process Intelligence to realize business value and ensure customer retention and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and senior stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions addressing customer challenges.
  • Manage and close six-figure deals within assigned accounts, achieving revenue targets.
  • Engage with partners, especially consulting firms and SaaS providers, to support joint sales efforts.
  • Lead virtual teams comprising sales, marketing, partner management, and customer success professionals to coordinate proposal activities.

Requirements

  • Japanese native language proficiency, with the ability to engage in smooth negotiations and proposals with customers
  • Experience selling enterprise software or IT solutions to manufacturing industry clients
  • Experience proposing and negotiating with C-level executives (CIO, CFO, CPO, COO) within manufacturing companies
  • Experience in SaaS or software sales with value selling approaches
  • Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience working with partners such as consulting firms, SIers, or enterprise tech companies to promote business
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-moving, high-growth environment and approach challenges with positivity, creative thinking, and a growth mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate, embrace diversity, and work inclusively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience managing enterprise customer accounts and delivering against sales targets
  • Ability to lead and coordinate virtual teams including business development representatives, marketing managers, partner managers, sales engineers, pre-sales, customer success managers, professional services, and implementation partners
  • Willingness to be proactive in learning and self-development, demonstrating a growth mindset
  • Experience in managing a revenue target involving six-figure deals (several million yen or more) within assigned accounts
  • Experience in engaging with cross-line-of-business at C-level and below, representing the entire suite of Celonis solutions including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Sustainability, and Opportunity Management
  • Experience in closing large deals worth several million yen or more
  • Experience in engaging closely with partners such as Big4 consulting firms, SaaS partners, and other consulting firms to drive joint proposals and projects
