Job Description
As a Platform Engineer at Celonis, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across multiple providers, manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters, and lead critical infrastructure projects to support the company's process intelligence platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Develop tools to manage hundreds of Kubernetes clusters and millions of cloud resources
- Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of platform offerings
- Lead critical infrastructure initiatives and influence architectural direction
- Shape engineering culture, set standards, and mentor engineers
Requirements
- 10 years of professional experience in relevant engineering roles.
- Real-world experience operating highly available services in Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one of the following cloud providers: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture.
- Deep expertise in at least one core domain such as cloud, Kubernetes, DevEx, security, or observability, with working knowledge of at least two additional domains to engage in technical discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
- Track record of independently owning large problem spaces with ambiguity.
- Evidence of improving efficiency or quality across more than one team.
