Job Description
The role involves managing and growing strategic public sector and defense accounts by selling enterprise SaaS solutions, building long-term relationships with senior decision-makers, and driving complex sales cycles to support government modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts in the Public Sector, including government and defense organizations.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, identify new opportunities, and establish scalable growth initiatives in the Public Sector Defense space.
- Engage with C-level and senior public sector leaders to promote solutions and support transformation initiatives.
- Represent the full portfolio of solutions, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, procurement optimization, operational excellence, and compliance.
- Drive revenue targets by managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and six-figure deal values.
- Collaborate with strategic partners such as consulting firms, system integrators, and technology vendors.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including business development, marketing, solution engineering, customer success, and professional services.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions to C-level and senior decision-makers in the Public Sector.
- Strong understanding of the Public Sector and or Defense ecosystems, including procurement processes, regulatory constraints, governance models, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working closely with partners such as consulting firms, system integrators, and technology providers in a coordinated go-to-market motion.
- Ability to build, iterate, and scale a growth initiative from zero, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset, thriving in ambiguity, and shaping a personal success path.
- Ability to excel in a high-growth, fast-moving, dynamic environment with a solutions-oriented approach, positive mindset, and creativity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style, with the ability to bring teams together.
- Experience managing and growing a focused portfolio of Strategic Accounts across the Public Sector, including central government ministries, national agencies, local authorities, and defense-related organizations.
- Experience engaging with C-level and senior public leaders such as CIOs, CFOs, COOs, Program Directors, and Cabinet-level stakeholders.
- Ability to represent the full portfolio of solutions, including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Budget Performance, Procurement Optimization, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain, Compliance, Sustainability, and Customer Care.
- Ability to own an individual revenue target and drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with six-figure deal values.
