Job Description

The Office Manager will oversee daily office operations, manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders, support onboarding and offboarding processes, assist with employee inquiries, and help coordinate team activities, all while supporting Dioxycle's mission to reduce CO2 emissions through innovative carbon utilization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including supplies, guest reception, and general upkeep
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to negotiate and manage relationships
  • Ensure positive onsite experiences for investors, partners, clients, and candidates
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Serve as main contact for employee inquiries regarding office matters, benefits, and general issues
  • Assist international employees with settling in France and resolving day-to-day problems
  • Organize team-building activities, meals, and annual seminars in Paris and San Francisco
  • Support the Director of People in recruitment activities, including sourcing, scheduling interviews, and screening candidates

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to ensure smooth daily office operations, including managing supplies, welcoming guests, and ensuring general upkeep.
  • Must be able to liaise, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
  • Must ensure all investors, partners, clients, and candidates have great experiences onsite.
  • Must support in the coordination of all onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Must act as the main point of contact for employees regarding office matters, benefits, and general inquiries.
  • Must assist foreign Dioxyclers with settling in France and handling day-to-day problems they encounter, which may involve calling French administration, banks, insurance companies, etc.
  • Must organize team-building activities once per month in Paris and in San Francisco, including lunches, breakfasts, and the annual team seminar.
  • Must support the Director of People in recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and screening junior candidates.
  • Candidates must be dedicated to advancing Dioxycle's mission of abating CO2 emissions and turning emissions into everyday products.
  • Candidates must be positive, detail-oriented, and motivated, with a strong alignment with the company's values and mission.
  • Candidates must include a short motivational note letter in their application; applications without this will be disqualified.
  • Candidates must not use AI-generated cover letters, as the company does not consider AI-written notes in their recruitment process.
