Job Description
A senior architect role responsible for designing and implementing complex solution architectures for clients, supporting sales and customer engagement, and guiding technical teams to ensure successful integration, performance, and security of Celonis' process intelligence platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design solution architectures for customer integrations of Celonis products
- Engage with prospects and customers to support technical implementation and expansion
- Assess customer IT landscapes and develop technical designs and strategies
- Lead and define architecture, data, and cloud strategies for large client accounts
- Collaborate with sales, product management, and technical teams to facilitate product adoption
- Create technical assets, position papers, and thought leadership materials
- Coach and guide consulting teams and partners on architecture, integration, and performance
- Participate in pre-sales and post-sales phases to support customer success
Requirements
- 15 to 25 years of relevant experience in roles such as Software vendor Architect, Top consulting firms CTO or Enterprise Architect at a customer, with a strong background in Data Architecture, Integrations patterns, and Development.
- Proficiency in data-related languages such as SQL and Python.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation and creativity skills, with the ability to explain architecture diagrams and demonstrate architecture through coded demos.
- Strong technical background with a focus on system integrations, data operations, and automation capabilities.
- Deep understanding of cloud native architectures and SaaS solutions.
- Experience with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Dynamics CRM, and ServiceNow.
- Fundamentals of cybersecurity posture, API ecosystems, and legacy on-premise enterprise architectures.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills such as Spanish, French, or Italian are a strong advantage.
- MSc degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Preferred certifications including Celonis Certifications, OCPM, Case Centric Data Pipelines, AWS, Azure, GCP Certifications, ESB, ETL Certifications, Mulesoft, Oracle, SAP, Talend, Informatica, TOGAF, Zachmann Certification.
- Experience in at least 2 domains among Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Management, Service, Order Management, Sales, HR, Procurement.
- Experience in at least 2 industries among Consumer Goods, Banking, Pharma, Aerospace, Telco, Transport.
