Job Description
The Lead Value Engineer at Celonis is responsible for guiding customers through the process of achieving measurable business value using the Process Intelligence Platform, acting as a trusted advisor to drive process improvements, platform adoption, and strategic transformation initiatives across various industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate customer objectives into value assessments and proof-of-value projects
- Build business cases and demos leveraging industry benchmarks
- Conduct value assessments and communicate strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
- Facilitate business value workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
- Derive and initiate improvement measures in core business functions
- Manage the end-to-end customer value journey including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal
- Develop strategic expansion roadmaps to embed Celonis platform for business transformation
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on new use cases
- Collaborate with IT teams and leverage partners to support project execution
- Prepare and communicate value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management
Requirements
- 7 years experience in an analytical role with the objective to demonstrate or secure value through business data analysis, business process improvement and respective Software deployment.
- Ideally in a customer-facing role in Solution Consulting, or IT Management Consulting with a Business Software SaaS Provider or a Consultancy, or in an Inhouse role e.g. Center of Excellence for Data Mining Analytics Intelligence within an Enterprise.
- Experience in identifying use cases for business process improvement and deploying improvement measures, being a change agent and training users and process owners to realize value.
- Understanding of the Finance and or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives e.g. Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation.
- Good knowledge of Business Software SaaS applications e.g. SAP, experience with implementing RPA and or BI Tools and or building Dashboards, Apps and Action Flows.
- Knowledge of Python and or SQL and importantly AI.
- Experience in collaborating with IT teams.
- Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations and timelines, managing multiple projects across different parts of the value journey, and leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem.
- Experience in preparing and communicating value roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and a professional appearance.
- Degree in Technology Management, Industrial Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a comparable degree program.
