Job Description
The role involves developing and testing advanced process mining algorithms, particularly Object-Centric Process Mining, to enhance Celonis' platform, while collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to scientific research and intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test algorithms for process discovery and data-driven process modeling, focusing on Object-Centric Process Mining (OCPM).
- Translate requirements and innovative ideas into functional, high-quality code.
- Evaluate the efficacy and performance of developed code through rigorous testing.
- Integrate new solutions into the existing product suite and collaborate with teams for deployment.
- Publish research findings in top-tier scientific outlets and patent inventive work.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX teams to guide feature development and define user experience.
- Support coordination of funded research projects.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
- Hands-on experience with Process Mining, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Initial experience in programming, working with databases, and ETL processes
- Strong communication skills, coupled with an interest in engaging with potential customers
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking
