The role involves developing AI-assisted data models and workflows within the Celonis platform to enhance process intelligence solutions, focusing on building scalable data pipelines, applying AI tools, and collaborating with engineering teams to accelerate content development and customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities
Build data models for defined ontologies and mappings using process mining methodologies and SQL transformations
Design and implement business objects, process events, and data models using AI-assisted workflows and agentic tooling
Research, develop, and extend ontologies for new and existing business processes
Develop and maintain tools and data pipelines for publishing and distributing pre-built data models
Collaborate with software engineering teams on requirements, timelines, and dependencies for content distribution
Test and validate data models in development and customer environments to gather feedback
Document data model principles and development processes
Drive AI adoption to accelerate content development and customer end-user adoption
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in AI-assisted engineering and the development of agentic workflows.
Hands-on expertise with SQL and applying AI tools or automation frameworks in data workflows.
Expert proficiency in Python, with a strong emphasis on data analysis, numerical simulation, and data pipelines.
Ability to build, test, and deploy AI applications using large language models (LLMs) and frameworks.
Skill in designing systems to improve model responses with external knowledge bases.
Ability to implement observability tools to monitor performance, latency, and cost of AI applications.
Proficiency in optimizing prompts to enhance accuracy and reduce hallucinations in AI models.
Proficiency in data modeling best practices.
Working knowledge of Cloud Platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
Experience transitioning prototypes into scalable production systems using Docker, FastAPI, and API integration.
Experience working in the data field as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst, or similar role with at least one of the following system types: ERP systems such as SAP ECC or S/4, Oracle EBS or Fusion, Supply Chain Management systems like BlueYonder, SAP, or Oracle, CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, or IT systems like ServiceNow.
Strong solution designing skills with a solid understanding of business processes in supply chain, financial, CRM, or IT-related domains and the data underlying these processes.
Ability to work independently and own a part of the team’s goals.
Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, with effective communication skills.
