Job Description

The role involves acting as a strategic advisor to energy companies, translating their vision into actionable value through process intelligence and digital transformation initiatives, with a focus on operational excellence and business impact across complex utility environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and translate client strategic goals into operational value using the Celonis platform
  • Architect and optimize end-to-end value chains such as Capital Projects, Asset Management, and Supply Chain
  • Build and present business cases and strategic roadmaps to C-Level executives
  • Lead executive relationships and manage value delivery for large-scale transformation programs
  • Guide customers on organizational design and maturity of Centers of Excellence
  • Identify and qualify process improvement opportunities through workshops and data analysis
  • Drive enterprise-wide change initiatives and define standards for regulatory reporting and operations
  • Scale best practices and develop reusable assets and playbooks for the energy utilities sector
  • Coach and mentor team members on client relationship management and sector-specific nuances
  • Provide feedback to product teams to align development with sector needs and expand customer adoption

Requirements

  • 15 years of relevant experience, ideally combining time at a top-tier Utility, Energy Conglomerate, or Renewables developer with Strategy Consulting, with a strong understanding of the complexities of regulated vs. unregulated markets.
  • Deep industry expertise in the energy sector, specifically in areas such as Asset Lifecycle Management, Capital Project Controls, Supply Chain, and Customer Operations CIS.
  • Proven track record of driving large-scale transformation programs that impact the P&L through capital efficiency, outage reduction, and working capital optimization.
  • Technical fluency in the modern utility stack, including SAP IS-U, Maximo, Oracle Primavera, and the ability to translate Celonis use cases into the customer’s specific business landscape.
  • Extensive experience presenting to and influencing C-Level executives such as COO, CFO, CIO, with the ability to navigate complex holding company structures and persuade through data, facts, and confidence.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and possess an entrepreneurial leadership style that inspires teams.
  • Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
