Job Description

The role involves leading strategic, data-driven process transformation initiatives for federal public sector clients, acting as a trusted advisor to realize operational value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform and driving large-scale organizational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level strategic objectives into operational value using the Celonis platform
  • Build business cases and strategic roadmaps to demonstrate operational impact to senior leadership
  • Lead executive relationships and oversee value realization in large-scale federal transformations
  • Guide client organization design and maturation of Centers of Excellence for process improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address implementation challenges and define modernization standards
  • Facilitate workshops to identify process improvement opportunities and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
  • Develop reusable assets, playbooks, and thought leadership based on client successes
  • Coach and mentor team members on government relationships, DoD nuances, and performance management
  • Act as the voice of the customer to product teams, providing feedback to align development with government needs
  • Manage the end-to-end customer value journey, including adoption, expansion, and renewal of the platform

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be located in the DMV region (Washington D.C., Maryland, Virginia).
  • Deep Industry Experience: 15 years of relevant experience, ideally combining time within the DoD Uniformed Services with Strategy Consulting or Federal Systems Integration.
  • Domain Expertise: Possess granular knowledge of the federal value chain, specifically in areas such as Defense Logistics, Depot Maintenance, Procurement Contract Writing, and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR).
  • Value Realization Skills: Have a track record of driving large-scale transformation programs and understanding how to impact mission readiness through process optimization and waste reduction.
  • Technical Fluency: Understand the federal IT stack, including ERP consolidation and Cloud migration, and how to translate Celonis use cases into the customer’s specific legacy and modern landscape.
  • Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience presenting to and influencing Senior Executives (SES), Flag General Officers, and navigating complex bureaucratic organizations with persuasive data-driven communication.
  • Builder Mentality: Comfortable working with ambiguity and possessing a leadership style that inspires teams in high-stakes environments.
  • Degree: MBA strongly preferred; a degree in Business, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field is required.
  • Must have the ability to translate high-level strategic objectives into operational value and construct robust business cases that articulate operational impact.
  • Must be able to lead executive relationships and value workstreams for large-scale transformations, ensuring program delivery across diverse workforces.
  • Must be capable of guiding organization design, maturation of Centers of Excellence, and mobilizing cross-functional teams including Systems Integrators and Partners.
  • Must be able to facilitate business value workshops, identify and qualify process improvement opportunities, and present results to senior management and Command leadership.
  • Must be able to develop strategic expansion roadmaps and embed Celonis Process Intelligence Platform as a core transformation tool within customer organizations.
  • Must serve as the Voice of the Mission to product teams, providing feedback to align development roadmaps with government security IL5/IL6 needs.
  • Must be able to build and communicate strategic roadmaps for customer expansion, adoption, and renewal of the platform.
