Job Description
This position involves contributing to architectural design, coordination, and detailing within a multidisciplinary team, supporting project development from concept through construction, and collaborating with engineers, consultants, and clients under the supervision of a Licensed Architect.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to design, production, coordination, and detailing of architectural projects
- Assist in coordinating engineering systems with consultants
- Maintain communication with owners and consultants regarding project status and design concerns
- Prepare design sketches for site plans
- Ensure project documents are coordinated across disciplines
- Evaluate designs for code compliance and assist in plan review
- Perform field site observations and visits
- Coordinate with team members on project tasks
- Supervise, train, and lead interns and less experienced staff
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture required.
- Minimum of 6 years of related professional experience required.
- Prior experience on Health, Education, S T and or Civic projects preferred.
- Current Architectural Registration in the United States preferred.
- CDT and LEED accreditation preferred.
- Must be a critical thinker.
- Must be highly analytical.
- Must be a fully qualified professional.
- Ability to perform work with some degree of latitude and with some ambiguity in work.
- Proficiency with Revit, Enscape, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Strong creative design portfolio required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, organizational skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple projects required.
