Job Description
This position is a senior project management and leadership role within an architecture and design firm, responsible for managing large projects, fostering client relationships, leading teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and driving business growth through strategic project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop client relationships to generate future business opportunities.
- Manage project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals.
- Oversee project planning, including work plan, budget, and schedule development and management.
- Manage design and documentation processes during construction.
- Ensure project compliance, risk mitigation, and proper documentation of key decisions.
- Coordinate workload and provide leadership, mentorship, and feedback to team members.
- Implement quality assurance and quality control standards throughout projects.
- Communicate project objectives and progress effectively to clients and team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
- Minimum of 12 years related experience, including managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more.
- Experience working on Sports projects preferred.
- Current Licensure preferred.
- LEED certification preferred.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers.
- Strong client leadership and project team management capability for large or multiple projects.
- Must possess strong business acumen.
- Ability to perform as a leader of authority, with expert level knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
