Job Description
The role involves leading a technical support team responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues in Aurora's autonomous vehicle fleet, ensuring operational efficiency and vehicle reliability in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software support technicians
- Oversee daily troubleshooting operations and monitor team performance
- Ensure timely and accurate resolution of fleet issues and escalations
- Develop and implement support processes and workflow improvements
- Provide technical support for vehicles encountering software or hardware issues
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on complex software and hardware problems
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field e.g. Information Technology, Computer Science, etc.
- 5 years of experience working with Linux in an administrative or troubleshooting capacity
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of software support technicians
- Strong technical knowledge of issue tracking systems
- Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to handle complex issue escalations
- Experience working with various complex hardware and software systems including lidar, radar, cameras, and computers
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across different teams, offices, and time zones
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: 85,000 - 120,000 per year
