Job Description
This position is a senior project management role leading large-scale design and construction projects, focusing on client relations, team leadership, project delivery, quality assurance, and business development within an architecture and engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project management activities including team leadership, scope development, and financial performance.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships, communicate project issues clearly, and facilitate client approvals.
- Manage project goals, work plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
- Oversee design and documentation processes during construction, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
- Coordinate and manage project team workload, provide mentorship, and foster a positive team environment.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance and quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related degree required.
- Minimum of 12 years related experience, including managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more.
- Current Licensure preferred.
- LEED certification preferred.
- Capability of performing in a project management role for large or multiple projects and training project managers.
- Strong client leadership and project team management capability for large or multiple projects.
- Must possess strong business acumen.
- Ability to perform as a leader of authority, with expert level knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
- Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam as well as other data management software is required.
- Experience managing projects with construction budgets of 70 million dollars or more is required.
