Job Description

This role involves leading and managing large, complex healthcare projects as a subject matter expert, providing technical expertise, developing innovative design solutions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality architectural and planning services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and serve as subject matter expert on large, complex, or multiple healthcare projects
  • Engage with team members, disciplines, and clients to advance project quality
  • Develop innovative solutions and industry advancements to meet evolving research needs
  • Lead internal Subject Matter Expert Teams and participate in marketing pursuits
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning
  • Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization
  • Communicate planning concepts to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations
  • Translate planning concepts into project documentation, including architectural drawings and specifications
  • Develop project scope, plans, and services during contract negotiations
  • Incorporate sustainable design solutions into projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience
  • Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the Healthcare market
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements
  • Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline
  • Must possess strong business acumen
  • Ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead less experienced team members
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
