This position involves leading and providing expert guidance on large, complex healthcare architecture projects, including planning, design, client collaboration, and mentoring team members, with a focus on innovative, sustainable solutions within the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and serve as a subject matter expert on large, complex healthcare projects.
Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning.
Lead user group meetings to gather and refine program needs and assess space utilization.
Communicate planning concepts effectively to clients, designers, and project teams through reports and presentations.
Develop, review, and modify planning concepts, architectural drawings, and specifications for construction.
Translate planning and design concepts into project documentation and construction plans.
Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process, incorporating sustainable design solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree
Minimum of 12 years of related experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market
Previous experience performing as a subject matter expert on projects ranging from large, complex, or multiple projects for the health market
Knowledge of building codes and requirements
Must have advanced knowledge in discipline
Must possess strong business acumen
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lead less experienced team members
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam
Travel required
