A healthcare project architect or planner responsible for leading programming, planning, and design efforts for large healthcare facilities, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring innovative, sustainable, and client-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead programming and planning for healthcare projects, including space utilization and user needs assessment.
Collaborate with project teams to develop, review, and communicate planning concepts and solutions.
Assist in creating architectural drawings and specifications to translate planning into construction documents.
Develop project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
Incorporate sustainable design solutions into healthcare projects.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide guidance to design and project teams.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or a related degree required.
Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
Must have prior experience performing as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects.
Licensure or registration in the United States preferred.
LEED accreditation preferred.
Must have the ability to be client facing with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
Must possess business acumen.
Must be a critical thinker.
Must be highly analytical.
Must be a fully qualified professional able to perform work with a high degree of latitude, with some ambiguity in work.
Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills and the ability to build a rapport with the project team and client is essential.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam required.
Travel required.
