Job Description
This role involves providing senior client leadership within the New York City office to build strategic relationships, lead project teams, drive business development, and promote Living-Centered Design, with a focus on the Health Market and achieving financial and project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client relationships within the Health Market, ensuring successful project outcomes and long-term partnerships.
- Develop and pursue new business opportunities with both new and existing clients to achieve top-line growth targets.
- Lead and mentor project teams to deliver high-quality, innovative design solutions and foster collaborative, inclusive work environments.
- Create strategic plans by understanding client needs and assembling expert teams to execute creative solutions.
- Ensure financial success of projects by managing processes, resources, and business practices aligned with firm goals.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in the Health Market with a proven track record of client and team leadership, and business development success.
- Previous experience in client leadership roles connected to an office, market, or region with multiple successful client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Current Registration Licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering preferred.
- Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Exceptional client and people leadership skills.
- Professional acumen and maturity demonstrated by the ability to communicate authentically and respectfully.
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and a sound approach regarding risk management and mitigation.
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
- Some travel required.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: Top line success goal of 3.0M per year in net signed fees (subject to change)
Work schedule: Approximately 45% of time focused on billable project work, 35% on business development, and 10% on team leadership
