This position is a senior project management role focused on leading design projects, managing client relationships, overseeing teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and driving business development within an architectural or engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop client relationships to generate future opportunities.
Manage project teams to achieve quality, budget, schedule, and profitability goals.
Oversee project planning, including work plan, budget, and schedule development and management.
Manage design and documentation processes during construction.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and quality assurance/quality control standards.
Identify and mitigate project risks through risk management planning.
Coordinate workload and provide leadership, mentoring, and feedback to team members.
Communicate client objectives and project updates clearly to team and stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or a related degree is required.
Minimum of 10 years of related experience is required.
Capability of performing in a project management role for single or multiple projects.
Licensure or registration in the United States is preferred.
LEED accreditation is preferred.
Must have advanced knowledge in the discipline relevant to the role.
Must possess business acumen.
Must have strong client leadership skills.
Strong project team management skills, capable of managing single or multiple projects.
Must be capable of leading and mentoring less experienced staff.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, MS Project, Deltek Vision, Bluebeam, and other data management software is required.
